Woodcarvings
We sell woodcarvings made in Oberammergau and produced in Italy (South Tyrol). Most of the carvings shown in our website are precarved by using a pantograph. They are finished by a woodcarver, who carves by hand all details to complete the art work. The painting of the figurines is done exclusively by hand.
Some of the woodcarvings are also available as complete handcarved figurines. Please ask for special prices.
All size, measurements, colors and other descriptions are approximate only and subject to manufacturers normal tolerances.

Payment
Credit Cards:
All Credit Cards are subject to approval prior to shipment. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS, AMERICAN EXPRESS, EURO CARD. Backordered items are not charged until and unless they are filled. Of course, we do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship.
Checks and money order:
Make all checks payable to Toni Baur, Holzschnitzereien, Oberammergau.
No counter checks, post dating or third party checks, please. For your protection, all personal checks are subject to complete address and bank verification. Returned checks are subject to a service charge of US$10.00 or the maximum allowed by law. Other cost of collection and all penalties will also be assessed.
Prices, Shipping
All prices shown on the website are in United States Dollars or in EUR (Euro).
Shipping charge for several woodcarvings in one package may differ from amount shown in online order form. In case of higher charge, you will be informed.
- Local duties or taxes may apply. You must check with your local Post Office. We cannot declare an incorrect amount for customs. We do not charge tax on international shipments (outside EU countries). You are responsible for any taxes, duties or customs fees charged by your local government.
- Please make sure that you enter your address correctly. We must charge you for shipping if we have to re-ship an item because of an address mistake.
- If we are not able to ship the items that you order within 42 days, we will notify you by e-mail (you must provide a valid e-mail address) and you may choose to keep your order open for another 30 days.
Refund
You may return any item for a full refund of the product price. Merchandise may be returned within 14 days (shipping and handling charges are not refundable).
You may return defective products for a replacement. Please return damaged product with the packaging.
To make a return, please follow the steps:
- Please contact us immediately.
- Please include the order number on your invoice.
- Package merchandise securely.
- Include the packing slip that accompanied your order.
- Write a brief note explaining why you are returning your goods.
- Please return merchandise to the Toni Baur-address.
- Return prepaid and insured via regular parcel mail.
- It generally takes about 3 weeks to process a return.
- Items not received in our store will not be credited.
